Uses and work of Holdbac-CV 625 Tablet:-

● Holdbac-CV 625 is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria, including the infections of the ears, lungs,sinus,skin and urinary tract. 

● Holdbac-CV 625 also is used sometimes to treat certain sexually transmitted diseases (STD). Talk to your doctor about the possible risk of using this medication for your condition.

● Amoxicillin present in Holdbac-CV 625 is in a class of medications called penicillin-like antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria..

● Clavulanic acid present in Holdbac-CV 625 is in a class of medications called beta-lactamase inhibitors. It works by preventing bacteria from destroying amoxicillin. 

How should this medicine be used? 

● Holdbac-CV 625 is taken at the start of a meal every 8 hours(three times a day) or every 12 hours(twice a day). 

● Take this tablet until you finish the prescription even if you feel better.If you stop taking the medicine too soon or skip doses, your infection may not be completely treated, and the bacteria may become resistant to antibiotics

Side effects of Holdbac-CV 625:- 

Holdbac-CV 625 may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of the symptoms are severe or do not go away. 

● Diarrhea 

● Upset stomach 

● Vomiting 

● Mid skin rash. 

Some side effects can be serious. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately: 

● Severe skin rash 

● Itching 

● Hives 

● Difficulty in breathing or swelling 

● Wheezing 

● Vaginal itching and discharge 

● Yellowing of the skin or eyes. 

Storage:- 

● It is important to keep all medication out of the reach of children. 

● Store the tablet at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture. 

How to use

Precautions:- 

● Before taking the tablet, tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, penicillin or any other medication. 

● Tell your doctor what prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking. 

● Tell your doctor if you have or ever had a kidney or liver disease, allergies, hay fever, hives. 

● Tell your doctor, if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. 

● You should know that amoxicillin and clavulanic acid may decrease the effectiveness of oral contraceptives (birth control pills). Plan to use another form of birth control while taking this tablet.
