Diclotwist-MR

General information

Diclotwist-MR is a combination of Diclofenac Potassium 50mg + Metaxalone 400mg. It is a (10*10 Aluminum Strip) tablet. 

● Diclotwist-MR belongs to a class of medicine called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or painkillers, used to reduce and relieve pain due to muscle spasms (excessive tension in the muscles). 

● Muscle spasm is the sudden involuntary contraction of the muscle, which can be painful and uncomfortable. 

● When the nerve impulses that control the muscle movements are damaged or interrupted, It leads to muscle spasms. 

Work and uses of Diclotwist-MR in your body:- 

● Diclotwist-MR contains Diclofenac and Metaxalone.Diclofenac works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. 

● Metaxalone works by blocking the nerve impulses, and pain sensations in the brain, thereby helps in maintaining muscle strength and relieves muscle spasm or stiffness. 

● Metaxalone works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. 

● Together they help in relieving pain due to muscle spasms. 

Drug Warning:- 

● If you have had any recent heart surgery, do not take this tablet, unless advised by the doctor, as it may increase the risk of heart failure or stroke. 

● Do not take this tablet if you have problems, such as bleeding from the stomach or bowels while taking any painkiller. 

● If you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes, liver or kidney problems consult your doctor before taking this tablet. 

Side effects of Diclotwist-MR:- 

● Stomach pain. 

● Nausea. 

● Vomiting. 

● Diarrhoea. 

● Dizziness. 

● Headache. 

Storage:- 

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight. 

How to use

Directions for use:- 

Swallow as a whole with water, do not crush, break or chew it.
