General information

Uses and working of Uditwist-300 tablet:- 

Uditwist-300 is used to treat:- 

● Gallstones. 

● Primary biliary cholangitis 

● Biliary and liver diseases caused by cystic fibrosis. 

Uditwist-300 contain Ursodeoxycholic acid, which is naturally occurring bile acid.It breakdown the cholesterol in children above six years with biliary and liver disease caused by cystic fibrosis.It also breaks down the cholesterol that has formed into gallbladder stones, thereby dissolves the stones. It has a productive effect on the liver cells and the immune system, thereby improving liver function. 

Uditwist-300 decreases the amount of cholesterol produced by the liver and absorbed by the intestine. In patients with primary biliary cirrhosis, it increases the bile flow. 

Drug warnings:- 

● Do not consume if you are allergic to any of its contents, if you have inflammation of gallbladder and bile ducts, narrowing or blockage bile ducts, biliary colic, calcified gallstones or duodenal ulcer. 

● Tell your doctor before taking this tablet if you have variceal bleeding(high blood pressure in portal veins), ascites(excess abdominal fluid) or liver disease. 

● Do not take Uditwist-300 if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. 

● Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking the tablet as it may cause dizziness and liver damage. 

Side effects of Uditwist-300 tablet:- 

● Abdominal discomfort 

● Abdominal pain 

● Diarrhoea 

● Nausea 

● Fever 

● Cough 

● Rash 

● Dizziness 

● Indigestion 

● Black or tarry stools 

● Frequent and painful urination 

● Weakness. 

Storage:- Store in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight.

How to use

Directions for use:- 

● Swallow it as a hole with a glass of water 

● Do not chew or crush the tablet.
